Pace Communications Takes Home a Record 29 Awards at APEX 2007

Greensboro, NC (July 30, 2007)—Pace Communications, the world’s largest private custom publishing company, bested itself at this year’s 19th annual APEX Awards. With 29 awards for excellence, the company topped its own achievement of 23 awards at APEX 2006. While Pace stalwarts Delta Sky, AAA Living, and Hemispheres continue to garner acclaim, the custom publisher also won big for new titles, including Winterthur Magazine, CollegeReady, and Renaissance Magazine. The Annual Awards for Publication Excellence (APEX) competition celebrate the best business publications from corporate, nonprofit, agency and independent settings, with honors going to those achieving unique distinction. APEX 2007 received 871 entries, from which judges ultimately selected 114 winners.

Sponsored by the editors at Writing That Works: The Business Communications Report, the authoritative monthly newsletter about practical business writing, editing and communications, the APEX Awards recognize achievement in graphic design, editorial content, and overall communications effectiveness.

“The Pace editorial and publishing teams have a depth and breadth of experience and knowledge that is truly impressive,” said Craig Waller, the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer. “In everything from outstanding graphic design and unique editorial content to creating publications that reflect out clients’ core values and missions, Pace excels, and it is with genuine pride that we accept these APEX awards.”
